Martial Arts Dojo Gets Boost from Google Reviews

Martial arts dojo offer students the opportunity to learn self-defense techniques and build discipline. They can also find friends to train with and learn about different cultures. Martial arts dojo often have classes for children, too, so they can learn how to defend themselves.

At Dojo, we value feedback from our students and staff. We use Google Reviews to monitor how our students and staff are doing and to make improvements as needed. But what effect does the content of these reviews have on Dojo’s performance?
In a recent study, researchers at the University of Utah looked at the impact of positive and negative reviews on Amazon.com. They found that negative reviews had a much greater impact on company sales than positive reviews. This suggests that businesses should focus more on removing negative reviews than adding positive ones.
Google Reviews are a valuable tool for monitoring how students and staff are doing at Dojo. However, because they can have a significant impact on company performance, businesses should focus more on removing negative reviews than adding positive ones.

With more than a million Google reviews of physical dojos around the world, it’s clear that people are using Google Reviews to find dojos. In this study, we analyzed how much variation in dojo ratings is due to reviews themselves and how much variation is due to location.

We found that the effect of reviews on rating varies depending on location. For example, in the United States, there’s about a 2% difference in ratings between dojos with 100 or more reviews and those with fewer than 10 reviews. However, the difference in ratings between dojos with 100 or more reviews and those with 10 or fewer reviews is about 4% in India. This suggests that most of the variation in rating is due to local factors like availability of instructors and class sizes.

In conclusion, dojos that have received a boost in Google Reviews are more likely to attract students and better equip them for success in martial arts. Not only do these reviews provide potential students with valuable information, but they can also inspire others to check out the dojo. Because of this, dojos should strive to improve their Google Reviews rating as much as possible.
